Good Friday

Well from the looks of it most people actually are interested in a reunion , but the blog does not seem to reach everyone. While wasting time in my room today I got an idea of holding the reunion on the coming good Friday long weekend (apr 22-24) and the following were the reasons that I found working for it.

1. One of the few long weekends of the year so those in jobs can actually manage by just taking a only a day or two off.
   
2. Still 5 months away that means we will have enough time for the groundwork.
   
3. Apt for the students. Those who are persuing MBA's will actually be free by that time.
   
4. Its not that hot in that time of the year.
   

These were the reasons that I found going for it, if you have a counter argument or a better suggestion please post as a comment.

But I still hope that we shall make the coming good Friday as "one of the Best Fridays."

Travellers Bulletin Board

This one is to act just like a bulletin board for travellers. Reunion Diaries

Though there is yet to be an official reunion, there have been many small reunions involving many meetings. For those of our classmates who are working at the same place everyday is a reunion. However here you can post the details of some planned reunions that might act as a source of inspiration for other such events. I for example have 2 of these and would write them up and post as soon as possible. And yes don't forget to click that little share on facebook button when you post a comment so that others can know that you have posted.

Putting the fun back in dysfunctional

In the spring of 2009, the word Electronication first appeared on this page or maybe for the first time (intentionally) on the world wide web. The designer knew that he wasn't designing a Social networking site that would be buzzing with activity 24X7. But yes when it was started I had in mind that people would keep on checking it every few weeks. It was then upon us the 5 moderators/editors of the blog to keep it alive. It was our job to keep it functional enough so that our erstwhile classmates would check it every couple of months. This meant that at-least one of the editors should churn up something that could be read and commented upon by others. This was to happen and we were to be connected by the means of the ELECTRONICATION blog.

And we failed. All of us are connected on Facebook. I talk to most of my friends at-least once a month (with or without reason). But this blog keeping which alive was partly my job as well has scarcely seen any activity. So as first of my several "last attempts" am writing this post.

Its been 18 months since we parted and the autumn of 2010 would soon be fading into winter, one and a half year is a hell lot of a time to learn and as said in that Britaina Pre Placement video on facebook "Zindagi Roz hamaari class leti hai". So if you are reading this please do share with us, in the form of a comment some important class of life that you have attended in the past 18 months.

Where's ECE?? What is it doing??

Hello Everyone !!

It has been five months after leaving UIET. We have had good times and maybe a few hard ones. We have been through different things, but there is one common thing that we all have done- we all have missed UIET, missed our HOSTELS, missed STU-C, missed our dearest pals and missed our favorite places in Chandigarh..

I wanna know where ECE is currently and what is it doing.. Please comment on this post writing about it. Hope to get your replies soon !!
